What we do at Ootnoo

  • At Ootnoo, we believe every clearance should feel respectful, calm and judgement‑free. Whether it’s a single item or a full property, we work quietly, carefully and with complete discretion.

  • Wardrobes, sheds, sofas, trampolines, office furniture — if it’s too big to move, we’ll dismantle it safely and take it away.

  • We bring strong, reusable sacks and pack everything neatly so your space stays tidy throughout the uplift.

  • If you’re reorganising a room, shifting furniture, or need a hand moving items before we uplift them, we’re happy to help.

  • We collect and uplift almost anything: household waste, garden waste, office items, cardboard, furniture, toys, textiles, builders’ waste, plasterboard, wood, glass, mixed recycling and more.

  • If you’d feel more comfortable with female staff on site, just let us know — we’re happy to arrange it.

  • We love pets, and we always work with patience and kindness around animals, families and busy homes.

  • We’re always happy to give recycling advice, help you choose the most economical option, and make sure you only pay for what you need.

  • You can pay by cash, cheque, card or bank transfer.

    Invoices are paper-free and sent by email, along with WTNS and consignment notes for commercial and hazardous waste.

    We charge £30 per cubic yard up to 50 kg per cube, plus call out of up to £50. Our prices our cheaper because we sort and separate all materials/items for recycling and donate where possible to projects and non-profits.

Reusable items are passed on through our network of local non‑profits, community groups, and reuse projects, helping support people and organisations across Scotland and beyond - even as far as Gambia, West Africa.

We believe in a kinder approach to waste that reduces landfill, lowers costs, and keeps our pricing fair for customers.
