We serve Edinburgh, Lothians, Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, Stirling, Falkirk and Fife.
We occasionally do work further afield in Glasgow and beyond, so just ask if you're located out of our usual service areas and we'll do our best to accommodate.

What types of waste we collectWe collect most types of waste and recycle most materials. This includes: wood, metals, plasterboard, plastics, textiles cardboard, paper, mixed recycling, packaging glass, ceramics, stone, clay, rubble, inert sofas, beds, mattresses, fridges, electronics, white goods, ovens, batteries, electric fires, chairs, windows, demo waste. garden waste, office furniture, household waste, pallets etc.

Things we can't collectIf you're unsure whether you need a consignment note or if your item is hazardous or may be prohibited, please contact us for help. Prohibited items include: Asbestos Biological or medical waste Oil, petrol, diesel Raw meat / fish Toxic substances, noxious chemicals.

What's a cube?Sometimes we refer to a cubic yard as a cube. This is equal to 3ft x 3ft x 3ft (up to 50 kg per cube).

Do you do same day waste collection?Yes, subject to availability. We're open from 08:00 a.m. to book an uplift.

Do you supply invoices?Yes we do - this contains payment info, an itemised breakdown of the waste and PO ref if applicable. For business customers, waste transfer notes are included with the invoice.

How much can you uplift or collect?As much as you need. Our luton vans safely carry up to 24 cubic yards or 1.2 tonnes per load. We 're happy to collect single items or multiple van loads.

Why is this better than skip hire?- We're often cheaper because you only pay for what you want removed. - Quicker because we do the removal work for you. - Better for the planet. ensuring little or nothing goes to landfill. - Easier because we're able to uplift/recycle items that some skip companies will not allow, such as: Plasterboard Electrical equipment (WEEE) Computers, monitors and TVs Fridges and freezers Batteries

Can you collect and dispose of fridges and freezers?Yes we can. We collect domestic and commercial sized units. All fridges and freezers incur a surcharge.

Do you uplift mattresses?Yes we do.

Do I need to be there when you clear waste and uplift items?No. As long as there is access and the quote and payment have been confirmed, we can clear the waste away without the need for you to travel to the site. Waste transfer notes are sent electronically and are contact free.

Are you SEPA licensed and insured?Yes we are. Our Waste Carrier number is WCR/R/1150712. We hold full public liability insurance with Glendinning. https://www.sepa.org.uk

Are you WEEE compliant?Yes we are and will collect and dispose of waste, electrical and electronic equipment in compliance with UK Waste Regulations 2013.

Do you collect out of hours?Call, text, whatsapp or email us today to arrange a special collection, subject to availability.

Can you help with flood-damaged households?We can help by working with you and make you a priority. For emergency removals and responsive waste support, call us today. Ootnoo is a licensed waste carrier and we will do our best to make the process as swift and as easy as possible for you.

Can you dismantle items if required?Yes we can and are full of stories and experiences about things we've dismantled before to get out of awkward places.
